This beautiful roundhouse built in 2011 by Karen and Mic from Touchwood Trees has burned down. It is unclear what caused the fire, but the following morning there were signs of unauthorized access to the camp. I had the pleasure of spending a week thatching with them in their hornbeam woodland in Ashford, Kent. www.touchwoodtrees.co.uk specialise 'in the transformation of public and educational spaces through the creation of artworks, food gardens, furniture and forestry development'. I wish them well. |
